My approach to therapy is collaborative and it starts with your story.
Our perspective is often what shapes our satisfaction. Understanding and shifting our perceptions, creating new meanings, and understanding the stories we tell ourselves can lead to the growth we want and need.
I offer a supportive space to help you navigate challenges, pain points, and barriers to change. I incorporate solution-focused, mindfulness-based techniques to explore the impact thoughts and feelings have on patterns of behavior. Values, attitudes, mind-body awareness, and experiences are unique to each person, and co-creating a space to explore where you’re at and where you’d like to be is where we’ll start.
When life’s demands, pressures, and life transitions exceed our ability to cope in a healthy way, our stress-response is triggered and our experience is both physiological and emotional. I can help you pinpoint external and internal triggers to stress, develop techniques to intentionally pay attention to mind-body experiences, learn how to approach understanding your habits with curiosity and compassion, and figure out how self-care can serve you.
Everyone has the capacity to have meaningful connections, a feeling of self-worth, and a rooted sense of personal empowerment. My goal is to help you tap into your strengths, challenge your belief systems, and use your gift of choice to evolve.
